The highly popular one-day showcase welcomes guests from all parts of the UK, attracting music lovers with incredible artists, insane production, food venders and fairground rides to create a special experience for all in attendance. For this years instalment, up to 10,000 ravers are expected to descend into Nottingham Racecourse. Attendees will witness some special sets from Richy Ahmed, SOSA, Prunk, Eddie Chitnis and more, all of which will perform in the TASTÉ Arena.
Originating from South Shields in the North East of England, Richy has spent over 15 years channelling his broad experience into cultivating genuine long-term integrity. His sterling reputation and warm, friendly demeanour has allowed him to inspire a new generation of British house producers and DJs, and in doing so built the foundations of a long-lasting legacy. Through his role as A&R at the esteemed and influential label Hot Creations, Richy has connected with, and championed, a plethora of young artists who’ve gone on to become prominent artists in their own right.
Liverpool has always been known for its rich musical heritage but in recent years it is ‘house music’ that’s been ringing through the streets of this Northern city. With house music royalty such as CamelPhat & Yousef flying the flag for so long, all eyes now fall on SOSA as Liverpool’s new rising star.
Dutch artist Prunk is very much part of the new breed. He grew up around classic house music and started collecting records before he was even a teenager. But rather than copying early inspirations like Mark Farina and Ian Pooley, he has learnt to speak his own musical language as both a DJ and a producer. This has made him a slow burning but now breakout talent who run his own influential PIV Records, and regularly appears on other vital outlets like King Street Sounds, Nervous Records, Defected and EWax.
Rounding off the lineup is TASTÉ head-honcho, Eddie Chitnis. A rising star from the West Midlands with a huge reputation in Nottingham after supporting the likes of ANOTR, Chris Stussy & East End Dubs, to name a few.
With over 60 artists still to be announced, the fifth instalment of Nottingham Groovebox Festival 2023 is set to be a banger. Tickets for the festival are available via the Club Global App / Website.
