South Londons Iconic venue for electronic music the Printworks is forced to shut down. In order to make way for development of office buildings. It’s official and has been confirmed that it is closing. It’s a sad time for many of the loyal community that support this venue through it’s history.

The iconic venue located in Surrey Quays opened up in only just in 2017 and holds a huge crowd of 6,000 partygoers. It hosted through the years the biggest DJs across electronic music including Bicep, Peggy Gou, and Defected. It has been ranked as one of the top 10 clubs in the world.

However it has not been closed just yet. There is still time to make the most of Printworks. The official closing date is unconfirmed, meaning there are still a few months left to make the most of it.

So get on the Overground to Surrey Quays and get raving at this venue before it’s too late. It’s a real shame that Printworks is forced to shut down due to the changing plans of the landlords.
